After recently being diagnosed with autism at 32, I’ve become passionate about creating stories that combine immersive activities and impactful stories. My goal is to help children find the same sense of understanding and connection that I am now just learning as I work with my psychologist to understand my autism and OCD.

Each Bandit Tails book is intended to tell a story that models effective coping mechanisms for all children, but especially for children with Autism and anxiety.

The minimal designs allow children to fully immerse themselves in the story through activity and caters to each individual child by allowing them to control the visual complexity (if they deem it appropriate). Each book caters to children with special interests in coloring and a desire to better understand themselves and the world around them.

To maximize accessibility, all books also use fonts that increase readability for dyslexic readers.
